anzibar_Chamber has held a two-day private sector-focused discussion on the development of a Private Sector Engagement framework for the SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUTH EMPLOYABILITY IN BLUE ECONOMY PROJECT (SEBEP). The project aims to enhance service infrastructures and youth skills to facilitate their employability. Notable improvements shall include the establishment of the Institute of Maritime Studies, five vocational training centers, and incubation centers.
ZNCC Chairman, Mr. @Ali Amour, highlighted the importance of learning from other countries' skills development projects, such as Germany, South Africa and Mauritius to understand their experiences and challenges. He emphasized prioritizing young women in the project and leveraging technology for its success. Mr. @HamadHamad, CEO of ZNCC appreciated the consideration of ZNCC by SEBEP as a key enabler in engaging the private sector, and assure unlimited support and commitment to realize the objectives of the project.
