I am pleased to welcome you to Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), the apex private sector organization in Zanzibar. You will notice that in the recent past we have not only changed our mode of operations, but also our branding strategy.

Part of our new brand is the name which appears to be shortened but it has been deliberately so designed to encompass all private sector players in Zanzibar, which include the existing and the new emerging sectors such as ICT, financial services, logistics, tourism, real estate, oil and gas, construction, agro-business, e-commerce platforms and the riches of the blue economy, just to mention a few. This differentiates itself from the old brand which limited itself with commerce, industry and agriculture.

Despite this dramatic change, our founding principle remains firm and the same; to unite the voices of our members and provide them with the best and up-to-date services to ensure smooth facilitation of their businesses while promoting Zanzibar economy. ZNCC sits at a cross-road to link the private sector with the government and other stakeholders including researchers and development partners.
